Sales Manager

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of multiple Security Consultants. They are responsible for reviewing and monitoring sales performance and refine sales strategies to ensure team members successfully meet sales goals. The Sales Manager will build, train, and oversee a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with VP, National Accounts and senior management to identify and prioritize opportunities to grow Universal Atlantic Systems with major national accounts.
  • Expand sales performance, primarily in verticals requiring outdoor protection solutions, through management of the day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure the company exceeds customer and sales goal expectations.
  • Responsible for achieving company objectives for sales of installation and recurring monthly revenue.
  • Ensure integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing and budgets as needed.
  • Serve as an escalation point for support, help remove roadblocks and step in, and role model selling behaviors when needed.
  • Support and provide oversight of company sales strategies, development of new initiatives and ongoing improvements.
  • Instill a value-based selling mindset within the team and clearly define a repeatable, high-quality sales process.
  • Refine sales systems, including Salesforce, Pardot, and DealHub, to drive efficiencies and uncover data-driven insights on sales performance.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement and coach the team to improve performance.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit new talent and provide training to new hires.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Access current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them.
  • Meet with large/key accounts as needed to explore opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication across different projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics on key quantitative metrics.
  • Identify emerging markets and verticals to find new sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for administering, communicating, and staying in sync with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, or a related field
  • 5+ Years in an applicable role within a fast paced, matrixed organization with proven experience driving business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and team-building skills with the ability to lead cross-functional groups to a common goal and objective
  • Experience using CRM, Salesforce preferred, to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to developing and organizing a multi-talented team
  • Proven time management skills, prioritization, and delivery against deadlines
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills

Work Requirements

  • Position may require overnight travel on occasion
  • Requires extended periods of PC exposure
